Mr. Keeling is a sixth year teacher who was born and raised in Bakersfield.  He attended Kendrick Elementary School and Ollivier Middle School before graduating from South High in 2005.  He then attended college at UCLA where he earned a B.A. in English and History.  He then returned to Bakersfield where he received his teaching credential from California State University, Bakersfield in 2010.  This is Mr. Keeling’s sixth year at Fairfax, where he teaches 8th grade English Language Arts.

     Mr. Keeling spends his free time thinking of ways to trick students into loving the English language and learning everything about it.  His hobbies include reading, creative writing, playing video games and reading about and exploring new technology.
